Member Days are back!
Since 2015, members have had the opportunity to book reduced priced tickets to exclusive days out at Merlin attractions, and 2023 is no different!
The only slight change this year is we have secured even more Member Days than ever before and will be launching all dates together. Making it easier for you to find a day out that works best.
What makes Member Days so special?
On these days, top attractions across the UK close their gates to the general public and open them exclusively for you to enjoy a fun day out with smaller crowds and faster services.
Plus you’ll receive a fantastic saving on the standard ticket price!
Ticket prices start from just £19 per person, including complimentary parking, and 20% off selected food and drinks vendors. What’s more, extend your trip by booking a hotel stay and receive discounted rates at each attraction (subject to availability).
Member Days (previously known as Services Days) are a small way for us to say thank you for all you do.
Why do we offer Member Days?
Last year, you purchased over 50,000 discounted tickets, with the ticket proceeds donated to charity.

• Saturday 11th March – 10am-5pm – £19pp
• Sunday 12th March – 10am-5pm – £19pp
Chessington World of Adventures Resort:
• Saturday 18th March – 10am to 5pm – £20pp
• Saturday 11th March – 10am-5pm – £20pp
• Saturday 11th November – 10am-5pm – £20pp
• Sunday 26th November – 10am-4pm – £22pp. This is a Christmas-themed event with bookings available to see Santa.
• Sunday 19th March – 10am-5pm – £21pp
• Saturday 4th November – 10am-8pm, including FRIGHT NIGHT and mazes – £23pp
• Sunday 5th November - 10am-8pm, including FRIGHT NIGHT and mazes – £23pp

What are Member Days?
Previously known as Services Days, Member Days are days out exclusively for Defence Discount Service Privilege Card holders. In partnership with Merlin Entertainment, theme parks across the UK (locations to be announced) close their gates to the general public, and open exclusively for you – our members – to enjoy smaller crowds, faster services and reduced ticket prices.
When are the Member Days taking place?
Full details on the leisure attractions and event dates will be released on Friday 20th January.
How do I purchase tickets?
Tickets for our 2023 Member Days have not yet been released, full details are coming soon.
Once released, tickets can be purchased through your Defence Discount Service account. Log in, search for the attraction you would like to book and click through to the ticketing page via the offer link. Tickets are subject to availability.
Can family and friends come with me?
Family and friends can join you at a Member Days event so long as you, the Defence Discount Service Privilege Card holder, is present. The maximum number of tickets you can purchase is 6 and are subject to availability.
Can I book more than one Member Days event?
Yes! Tickets are subject to availability.
Can I add an extra day at the attraction to my booking?
No. Member Days are exclusively for the dates promoted.
Can I book a hotel stay?
Yes, you can extend your Member Days to include an overnight stay for all events except for Thorpe Park Resort. Please see individual offer pages for booking information once the tickets have gone on sale. Both event tickets and hotel stays will go on sale at the same time.
Are Member Days tickets refundable?
No. Member Days ticket are subject to the standard terms and conditions of the ticket provider.
What identification do I need on the day?
On arrival, the member will be required to present their Defence Discount Service Privilege Card holders (physical card or digital card will be accepted) along with an additional form of ID.
