Alton Towers Resort - Members Day Update

Unfortunately, after careful consideration and in consultation with the Met Office and Defence Discount Service, Alton Towers has taken the difficult decision to cancel the planned Member Day on Saturday March 11th

Please note all re-booking or refund requests must be done directly with Alton Towers, not Defence Discount Service.

Waterpark and Hotels will remain open, offering a great family escape and a full programme of live entertainment for those who still wish to escape to Alton Towers Resort.

Alton Towers would like to offer everyone who booked to visit or stay the option to move their booking to the main theme park season. Please find details below of the options open to you and what you need to do to re-arrange your visit.

Re-booking and refund options 

I have a theme park ticket for Saturday 11th March – what are my options?

1. You can move your booking by selecting one of the following available dates via this link Simply follow the instructions given. 

2. If you do not wish to revalidate your ticket for an alternative date you can speak to a member of the Alton Towers team about a refund via Live Chat on the altontowers.com website or email [email protected]

I have an overnight stay booked at Alton Towers Resort for Friday March 10th or Saturday March 11th – what are my options?

1. You can choose to stay at the Hotel as planned and enjoy access to the Wacky Waterpark and live entertainment programme. A separate visit to the Theme Park can then be booked as outlined above.

2. Move your booking to visit the Hotel and Theme Park on another selected date between 18th March and 26th May 2023. To move your booking please contact to a member of Alton Towers team via Live Chat on the altontowers.com website or email [email protected]

3. If you can no longer visit and wish to get a refund on your stay please contact the Alton Towers Guest Excellence team via Live Chat on the altontowers.com website or email [email protected]
