Don't miss out on Black Friday

With the countdown to Christmas well and truly upon us we’ve announced the major retailers that will be offering exclusive Black Friday deals to help the Armed Forces Community tick off a few gifts early.

Black Friday, which will take place this year on 26 November, is a key date in many people’s calendars and has fast become one of the biggest shopping events of the year.

To give our members a head start on their Christmas shopping, we’ve announced some of the household names we have partnered with this year. Retailers include Gymshark, New Look, Samsung and Halfords.

Full details on when the deals will go live will shortly be announced, when our members will be able to get significant discounts on items such as household appliances, clothes, sunglasses, smart devices, televisions and cycling equipment to name a few.

A range of further discounts from big-name brands will be revealed on the day.  However, a selection of brands have already been confirmed for our Black Friday sale include:

- Buyagift

- Footasylum

- Gymshark

- Halfords

Eligible members can access all discounts through the Defence Discount Service website, app or card and remember to check your email preferences so you don’t miss out on all our latest news.

Commenting on the savings, Tom Dalby, CEO of Defence Discount Service, said:

“The Armed Forces community has been so hardworking this year, tirelessly supporting those in need and help lead the fight against coronavirus. The reason we’re able to spend more quality time with our families this festive period is down to the immense efforts of frontline workers and the Armed Forces in rolling out the vaccine in the UK.

“We’re delighted to be able to say a big thank you by providing the people working in the Armed Forces with these exclusive Black Friday deals.

“Many of the Armed Forces Community have to work long shifts or be away from home throughout the festive season, which can make Christmas shopping difficult. So, we hope our Black Friday deals offer a helping hand by giving them time to plan, and buy a few gifts early.
